Lab diamonds
How is a lab diamond made?
There are two main methods used to create lab-grown diamonds. Both methods create real diamonds -with the same hardness (10 on the Mohs scale), brilliance, and durability as natural ones.

This process mimics the intense pressure and heat that occur deep underground. A tiny diamond seed is placed in carbon, and under extreme heat and pressure, carbon atoms attach to the seed-growing into a larger diamond crystal.
CVD
In this more advanced method, a diamond seed is placed in a chamber filled with carbon-rich gas. When the gas is heated, carbon atoms separate and slowly settle on the seed, layer by layer, forming a diamond over several weeks.
Lab-grown diamonds are conflict-free and eco-conscios, created without mining-which means no destruction of ecosystems, no unethical labor, and no enviromental damage.
